Associate Wealth Advisor (Minneapolis, MN)
Job Summary

Mercer Advisors has worked with families to help them amplify and simplify their financial lives. Whether a family has $300 thousand or $300 million, our family office model – which integrates financial planning, investment management, tax and estate planning, insurance, and more – was designed to help them not worry about money. Our Regis Group was specifically formed to serve ultra‑high‑net‑worth families ($50M+), who face a unique set of financial advantages and challenges. Regis Wealth Advisors work hand‑in‑hand with these clients to help them make sense of their financial situation, make smart decisions, and live the lives of their dreams. You will be a part of the team responsible for delivering a boutique‑level and highly intimate experience to each client, backed by the full strength of a national fiduciary with a deep bench of functional experts in all areas of wealth management. Working as a team with these specialists, you will help a wide range of private investors, business owners, company executives, creators, and those stewarding generational wealth to overcome obstacles and progress towards their goals with more confidence and less stress.

This role is designed to be developmental in nature, offering increasing exposure and responsibility while providing leverage to the Senior Wealth Advisor and their existing book of business. The Associate Wealth Advisor I plays a key role in delivering comprehensive financial planning analyses and recommendations, supporting both client outcomes and the scalability of the Senior Wealth Advisor’s practice.

  • Prepares comprehensive financial plans that reflect each client’s unique goals, financial circumstances, and long‑term objectives.
  • Collaborates closely with internal partners across portfolio management, tax, estate planning, and other specialized teams to coordinate expertise and deliver integrated, comprehensive offering to our clients.
  • Effectively coordinates multiple client initiatives and priorities, proactively communicating progress, next steps, and considerations to the Senior Wealth Advisor.
  • Actively builds technical, relational, and advisor capabilities with the expectation of increased client ownership (in coordination with the Senior Wealth Advisor) and responsibility over time.
  • Translates complex financial planning concepts into clear, client‑friendly materials and deliverables.
  • Partner with the Senior Wealth Advisor to deliver exceptional, seamless client experience focusing on accuracy, timeliness, and accountability for the client’s future.
  • Ensures adherence to compliance and regulatory policies as well as company standards of client care.
  • Acts as a fiduciary, placing client interests and outcomes first.
