Job Description/Overview

The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care, supporting the medical team, and participating in leadership and growth activities, including reviewing practice metrics, business development, team education, and marketing collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Interpret lab results, radiographs, and EKGs; prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate client records.
• Engage in ongoing medical education.
• Communicate effectively with clients and present treatment options.
• Develop new programs to meet client needs.
• Supervise veterinary technicians and support their growth.
• Deliver in-house medical training.
• Work towards practice productivity standards.
• Review key performance indicators with partners and develop growth strategies.
• Participate in community outreach, veterinary activities, and social media marketing.
