Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Thermal R&D Engineer to advance the Power Solutions portfolio. You will perform thermal modeling, CFD simulations, and lab test correlation to optimize electronic cooling in collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.

Ideal candidates have CFD/thermal analysis experience, proficiency in Icepak or FloTHERM, and strong communication skills to present results to internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate modeling and thermal simulations of power products.
• Correlate simulation results with test data.
• Provide design guidance to customers on power applications.
• Perform design feasibility experiments to assess thermal impact.
• Build technical relationships with customers' engineering teams.
• Provide world-class technical support to customers.
