Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness in Concord, CA, seeks licensed mental health professionals to join our inpatient team. The role involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy, supervising associates, and coordinating care for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Requirements include a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling; a state license (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC); HIPAA familiarity; CPR/First Aid; and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
• Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
• Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
• Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
• Assesses and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
• Works as a team member with other professionals
• Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
• Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
• Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues

Our Concord inpatient facility houses 30 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Our beautifully remodeled location offers amenities to both our clients and staff.

Positions Available :

• Full time: Tuesday- Saturday or Sunday- Thursday

Essential Functions:

• Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
• Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
• Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
• Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
• Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
• Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
• Perform job duties under stressful conditions
• May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

Education And Minimum Qualification:

• Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Salary:

Associate Therapist: $85,000 - $105,000

Licensed Therapist: $95,000 - $120,000
