Job summary

Insight, located onsite in Hanover Park, IL, is hiring an Associate Technician (W2) to support IT Infrastructure efforts. You will deploy images, troubleshoot hardware, and perform QC inspections as part of a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware work, Windows OS expertise, imaging tools, and potential career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience or training.
• Experience with PC, messaging and server apps; LAN/WAN basics; scripting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, diagnostics, imaging tools (Ghost/MDT/SCCM).
• At least 1 year hardware troubleshooting including laptops/desktops.

Location: This role is fully onsite in our Hanover Park, IL office.

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Pay: $20/hr

We are looking for an Associate Technician W2 with:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PC’s,messagingand server software applications experiencerequired. LAN/WAN, and ability to automate tasks using basic scriptingtechniquesa plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, vendor diagnostics, imaging software such as Ghost, MDT, or SCCM.
• Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience, which needs to include laptops anddesktopfor Tier One vendors.
