Job summary

Insight in Hanover Park, IL is seeking an Associate Technician (W2) to join our onsite team. You will configure hardware—desktops, laptops, servers—and deploy images per work instructions while ensuring quality and performance.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS or 2 years related experience, Windows OS expertise, and familiarity with imaging tools (Ghost/ MDT/ SCCM). You will troubleshoot hardware, support Tier One devices, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace at a Fortune 500

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience, or equivalent.
• PCs, messaging and server software experience required; LAN/WAN knowledge helpful.
• Windows operating systems knowledge with vendor diagnostics and imaging tools (Ghost, MDT, SCCM).
• At least 1 year hardware troubleshooting for laptops and desktops (Tier 1).

We are looking for an Associate Technician W2 with:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PC's, messaging and server software applications experience required. LAN/WAN, and ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, vendor diagnostics, imaging software such as Ghost, MDT, or SCCM.
• Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience, which needs to include laptops and desktop for Tier One vendors.
