Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to manage full-cycle recruiting and TA operations in a hybrid Timonium, MD role. You will collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Partners to define needs, source candidates, and maintain compliant processes from requisition through onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in HR, business, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, Taleo, ICIMS).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; active listening.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated accountability with minimal supervision.
  • Discretion and professionalism in confidential settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned programs with timely, high-quality hiring.
  • Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates using social media, job boards, networking, and partnerships.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to define needs, develop interview plans, and communicate clearly.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates and teams to prevent delays.
  • Prepare and document job offers with 24-hour turnaround after approval.
  • Represent Catholic Charities at job fairs and community events; track outcomes and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to employer branding and engagement reflecting the organization’s mission and values.
  • Send personalized welcome cards to new hires to reinforce a culture of care.
  • Manage requisition intake and posting within 2–3 business days; escalate delays.
  • Ensure accurate job postings aligned with classification, compensation, and branding.
  • Verify data integrity in the ATS and related HR systems for accuracy and compliance.
  • Execute hires in UKG using established protocols for onboarding handoff.
  • Monitor the Talent Acquisition inbox daily; prioritize responses and delegation.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts with colleges, universities, and community organizations; document outreach.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen efficiency and accountability.
  • Support the Director with ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and administrative projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to support full-cycle recruiting and Talent Acquisition administrative operations. In this hybrid role based in Timonium, MD, you will own key steps from requisition through onboarding, with a focus on accountability, timely execution, and service excellence aligned to established expectations.

You will work closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure hiring needs are clearly defined, candidates are sourced and advanced efficiently, and internal processes stay accurate and compliant across the recruiting lifecycle.

What you will do
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned programs, delivering timely and high-quality hiring outcomes in line with service-level expectations.
  • Source, screen, and engage qualified candidates using social media, job boards, networking, and community partnerships, with accountability for outreach and pipeline activity.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to define hiring needs, develop interview plans, and maintain clear communication during selection.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates and hiring teams to keep processes moving and prevent decision delays.
  • Prepare, extend, and document job offers as directed by Talent Acquisition Partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within 24 hours of approval.
  • Represent Catholic Charities professionally at job fairs and community events, track outcomes, and provide post-event feedback to inform strategy.
  • Contribute to employer branding and engagement initiatives that reflect accountability to the organization’s mission and values.
  • Send personalized welcome cards to new hires as part of onboarding to reinforce a culture of care and attention to detail.
  • Manage intake and tracking of requisition requests, ensuring submissions are complete and posted within 2–3 business days, escalating delays proactively.
  • Ensure job posting accuracy and consistency, aligned with classification, compensation, and branding standards.
  • Verify and maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and process compliance.
  • Execute candidate hires in UKG using established protocols to support timely handoff to onboarding.
  • Monitor the Talent Acquisition email inbox daily, prioritizing responses and delegation to sustain workflow efficiency and internal service standards.
  • Coordinate recruitment participation with colleges, universities, and community organizations, maintaining documentation of outreach efforts and results.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within Talent Acquisition.
  • Support the Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Partners with ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and administrative projects to track progress and meet goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.

Schedule and work environment
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with hybrid schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote).
