Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer, Assoc to develop and configure power plant and research reactor monitoring systems. You will design, test, and debug computer systems and network architectures, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure compliance with specifications.

The role requires 0-2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across data acquisition, servers, networks, and hardware.
• Experience interfacing with field devices (thermocouples, RTDs, current loops, IO).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, test, troubleshoot and refine system hardware and software requirements with customers.
• Capture requirements, prototype, design, test, and document systems with minimal supervision.
• Select equipment suppliers and write purchase requisitions.
• Coordinate with customers and team to ensure design meets requirements.
• Create or review design documentation and formal test plans for systems including SCADA, PLCs, and data acquisition.
