Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC, seeks an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join Boeing Global Services. You will coordinate urgent customer requirements (AOG), manage material and delivery data, and advise customers on order status and changes to ensure rapid resolution.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, review engineering data, support suppliers, and use multiple systems in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working in Supply Chain.
• 1+ years’ experience in customer service
• 1+ years’ experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to facilitate quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG).
• Enter, track, monitor and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements for emergent escalations.
• Advise customers regarding order status, changes or improvements on AOG Hard Grounded requirements.
• Act as liaison with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive solutions for customer hard grounded aircraft situations.
• Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution.
• Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans.
• Assist in collecting and processing supplier/customer data regarding products or services (repair capabilities and capacity).
• Act as liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish common objectives.
• Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate resolutions.
• Use Boeing systems in fast-paced environment for AOG Hard grounded requirements.
• Adapt to fast-changing, high-stress work environment.
• Manage multiple deadlines; be self-driven and collaborative.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
• 1+ years’ experience in customer service
• 1+ years’ experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

This position will require you to work on a flexible schedule that could include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
