Job summary

Scoular is seeking an Associate Superintendent to manage daily grain-handling facility operations in a rural setting. You will learn leadership, safety policies, and how to engage with customers while maintaining efficient, safe operations.

You will help oversee receiving, storing and shipping grain/ingredients, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvements. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, quality control, and logistics in several U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist facility management with oversight of daily operations, including receiving, storing and shipping grain/ingredients
• Gain leadership experience supervising employees and directing daily activities

• Identify and implement operational changes to improve efficiency and reliability

As an Associate Superintendent,you’llbe immersedinthe daily management of a grain-handling facility, while learning how to lead safely and efficiently.You’llbe at the heart of what we do, learning the business, driving a culture of safetyand engaging with our customersin a rural environment.As an Associate Superintendent, you will:

• Assistfacility management with the oversight of daily operations of the facility, including receiving,storingand shipping grain/ingredients

• Gainleadership experience in supervising employees,givingdaily directions, and leading employee training

• Becomeasafety advocate by developing a thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures, ensuring employee safetyand protecting company assets

• Provideoutstanding service to Scoular's customers while building a competitiveandsustainable operation

• Identifyandimplement operational changes and facility improvements

• Learnto manage product quality,quantityand inventories to gain responsibility for inbound and outbound product flow

• Determinecost/benefit analysis to support proposals for facility improvements

• Buildan understanding of the commodity merchandising activity and strategies and translate to coordinate transportation and maintenance requirements to ensure on-time deliveries

• Currently pursuing an associate’sbachelor's degree with an anticipatedgraduation of December 2026or May 2027and interested in building a long-term leadership career in operations, supplychainor agribusiness
• Hands-on problem solver who enjoys being out in the operation, leading people, improvingprocesses and tackling challenges as they arise
• Possess mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, with the ability tounderstandfacilityequipment,identifypotential issues and partner with maintenance teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently
• Emerging leader with experiencemotivating others andleading in clubs, athletics,student organizations, work, militaryserviceor other team-based environments
