Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking an Associate Specialist, Logistics to deliver exceptional service to our customers and drivers before, during, and after calls.

You will monitor pickups, communicate delays, and support drivers with timely information while maintaining accurate dispatch data in our system. You’ll join a fast-paced team that values organization, clear communication, and a strong knowledge of transportation processes.

• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pickups and deliveries and inform customers of deviations.
• Answer driver and customer calls/emails and address needs.
• Obtain updates from drivers/carriers and enter data into the dispatch system.
• Communicate issues to customers and drivers.
• Track and update Active Run problems.

As an Associate Specialist, Logistics, you will deliver exceptional service to our customers and drivers before, during and after the call.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Monitor and track pickups and deliveries, and notify customers of any deviation from the run schedule
• Answer incoming driver and customer calls/emails, and take care of their needs
• Call and get updates from drivers/carriers and input accurate information into the dispatch system
• Communicate any issues with customers/drivers
• Monitor and update all Active Run problems

At a Minimum, You'll Need

• Strong organizational and time management skills, including multitasking and managing customer expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills

It'd Be Great If You Also Have

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Experience dealing with high phone volume in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong driver and customer interaction experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent phone communication skills
• Knowledge of the transportation industry
• Availability to work weekend day shift
• Spanish language skills (not required)
