Job Profile:

Translation Associate in Amazon.com operates in a global eCommerce environment across seven countries, including Retail, third-party marketplaces, eCommerce platforms, and web services for developers.

The Catalog Associate is an entry-level role with up to 2 years at Amazon. Responsibilities include populating and procuring content for product catalogs, coordinating with vendors and manufacturers, correcting errors, maintaining work records, and understanding instructions from supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Handle daily task volumes ensuring SLA and quality standards are met.
2. Use Amazon's Retail Systems Platform (RSP) effectively to support vendors and enhance the online catalog.
3. Maintain accurate work records and update trackers.
4. Flag escalations for SLA or quality issues promptly.
5. Coordinate with vendors/buyers to ensure accurate product details and pricing.

Skills and Competencies Required:

• Proficiency in Spanish (B1 or above) or BA/MA in French.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong business communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
