The Role

As a Paralegal at Godoy Law, you’ll play a key role in handling immigration and criminal law matters, providing support that directly influences the success of our clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of client cases (federal immigration and state criminal court)
• Conduct client meetings and recommend legal strategies
• Draft affidavits and legal documents
• Delegate and supervise tasks to legal assistants
• Provide full-service support for family immigration, deportation defense, and criminal defense for immigrants

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of immigration legal experience strongly preferred

(Less experience may be considered if supported by strong writing skills and robust casework)

• Undergraduate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
• Genuine passion for serving immigrant and underserved communities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-moving environment
• Customer-focused mindset with integrity and professionalism
