The Role
As a Paralegal at Godoy Law, you’ll play a key role in handling immigration and criminal law matters, providing support that directly influences the success of our clients.
Responsibilities include:- Take ownership of client cases (federal immigration and state criminal court)
- Conduct client meetings and recommend legal strategies
- Draft affidavits and legal documents
- Delegate and supervise tasks to legal assistants
- Provide full-service support for family immigration, deportation defense, and criminal defense for immigrants

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of immigration legal experience strongly preferred
(Less experience may be considered if supported by strong writing skills and robust casework)
- Undergraduate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
- Genuine passion for serving immigrant and underserved communities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Customer-focused mindset with integrity and professionalism
