Job summary

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is looking for an Associate Space Planner to join our Facilities Operations Branch. In this role, you'll help design and optimize workspaces that support thousands of DMV employees throughout California.

You will design office layouts and modular furniture systems, coordinate renovations, manage space planning projects, conduct site visits, and collaborate with stakeholders to create safe, efficient work environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and space planning.
• Knowledge of office planning, building codes, and facilities design.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and develop space plans.
