Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA seeks an Associate Software Engineer to support the implementation of UHS applications. You will monitor maintenance resolutions and design new or modified applications to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with users and IS staff, providing guidance to team members, performing tests, and adhering to project management standards. Travel of 5-25% domestic is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in CS/IS preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and programming languages; OO development; SDLC; source control and project management concepts.
• SQL Server experience with views, tables, and stored procedures.
• Design, development, analysis, creation, testing and modification of computer programs and database objects.
• Documentation of programs, database design, and support documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, tests and documents new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
• Participates in meetings with users and IS staff to develop or modify application specifications.
• Supports the implementation of applications.
• Performs unit and system testing.
• Provides documentation as needed.
