The role involves designing and implementing new applications, providing technical support across UHS entities, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with users and the IS team.

Travel up to 25% domestically; strong communication and QA focus required; on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in CS or IS preferred.
• Relational databases and programming languages knowledge.
• SQL Server experience with views, tables, and stored procedures.
• Software development lifecycle and source control familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Designs, codes, tests and documents new applications or enhancements.
• Participates in meetings with users and IS staff to develop or modify application specifications.
• Supports the implementation of applications and performs unit and system testing.
• Provides documentation and adheres to project management standards.
• Maintains regular communication with user community and provides on-call support.
