Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You’ll contribute to idea generation, technical design, and implementation using modern stacks that meet platform needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, 1 year of programming experience, and familiarity with REST/JSON. You’ll participate in Scrum ceremonies and translate user stories into working software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in scalable systems.
• 1 year experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred).
• Familiarity with REST, HTTPS, JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code that adheres to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
• Translate design mockups and user stories into working applications.
