Job summary

Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) is seeking an Associate Security Operations Engineer to support security operations across the enterprise. You will monitor security tools, triage alerts, assist with incident response, and contribute to cyber threat hunting under guidance from senior staff.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in cybersecurity, IT operations, or related fields.
• Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, or incident response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support enterprise security tools to detect threats and anomalous activity.
• Review, triage, and escape security alerts according to playbooks.
• Assist in incident response activities including investigation and containment.
• Support cyber threat hunting by analyzing logs and endpoint data.
• Maintain and tune detection rules and monitoring configurations.
• Document incidents and actions in ticketing systems.
