Job summary

Related Companies is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity/SOC Analyst I with at least three years of SOC experience. The role focuses on Threat Monitoring, Detection, Response, Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence to protect the enterprise.

The Analyst will detect threats, perform incident response activities, and maintain security monitoring tools while developing improved SOC processes. Collaboration with IT teams and proactive risk remediation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent work experience with Cyber Security certifications considered.
• 3+ years of security operations center experience in a 24/7 environment.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., CySA+, CCNA, GCIH, GCFA).

Responsibilities

• Detect threats through all stages of an attack using security platforms to determine remediation actions.
• Perform incident response activities including host triage, malware analysis, and remediation.
• Maintain security monitoring tools and improve incident response times and SOC processes.
• Document all activities during an incident.
• Collaborate with system and network admins to remediate risks at the infrastructure level.
