Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Associate Shell Production Engineer to lead the ceramic shell and dewaxing operations at Chromalloy Castings Tampa. You will own process development, optimize manufacturing steps, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency in aerospace investment casting.

As the technical owner, you will analyze drawings, create procedures, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance to meet production goals in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 0−1 year of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and process issues.
• Ability to develop technical procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering owner for ceramic shell and dewaxing operations.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to meet specs, quality, and production schedules.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, and specs to create and maintain process procedures.
• Develop and maintain shop instructions and process documentation for consistent production.
