Job summary

PJT Partners' Camberview unit seeks an experienced Associate to join the advisory team focused on shareholder engagement, activism, governance, and investor relations. This role is based in New York and centers on translating complex financial insights into actionable client advice.

The Associate will have 4+ years in equity research or advisory, strong modeling and presentation skills, and the ability to interact with senior executives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience in a buy-side or sell-side equity research role and/or an advisory role providing strategic advice to public companies
• Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record
• Experience performing in-depth fundamental research
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to articulate complex strategies in presentations and interact with senior executives

Responsibilities

• Execute client engagements and build impactful investment theses
• Draft compelling narratives to retain and attract shareholders
• Build financial models and conduct valuation analyses
• Prepare management/investor presentations and press materials
• Support senior leaders in business development and marketing efforts
• Mentor Analysts and contribute to team growth
