Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking an Associate Scrum Master to empower agile teams and safeguard delivery commitments. The role focuses on enabling high-performing squads, removing blockers, and promoting an Agile mindset across the IT delivery system.

We expect strong collaboration, coaching skills, and the ability to align stakeholders with the product road-map while maintaining a balance between in-person and remote work in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity and understanding of common Agile practices.
• Leadership and team-building capabilities including coaching and guidance.
• Proficient in conflict resolution and problem solving.
• Strong communication skills to align multiple roles and personalities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile activities and meetings including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Work with Product Owners and Program Managers to understand road-map, priorities and delivery schedules.
• Guide the team on Agile principles to enable self-organization.
• Lead the team to commit to delivery using standard agile metrics and reporting.
• Manage dependencies across the organization and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure documentation and processes are available for team use and velocity improvement.
