Job summary

Lonza is seeking an Associate Scientist for the MSAT Development Services Laboratory in Portsmouth, NH. This site-based role partners with experienced scientists to perform studies, analyze data, and contribute to process and analytical development activities in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

You will execute studies, collect data, and prepare protocols and reports under guidance, while supporting lab operations and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline.
0–2 years of biotechnology or laboratory operations experience.
Ability to follow scientific procedures and document data.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

Execute laboratory studies and analytical testing following procedures and protocols.
Collect, analyze, and document experimental data to support development activities.
Prepare study protocols, reports, and other technical documentation with guidance.
Support laboratory operations, including equipment monitoring and maintenance.
Participate in safety initiatives and maintain quality/regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with internal project teams and provide progress updates.
Complete training and develop technical expertise across lab functions.
