Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an Associate Scientist for MSAT Development Services Laboratory to execute studies, analyze data, and support development activities in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in biotechnology, laboratory operations, manufacturing, or related technical environment preferred.
• Ability to follow scientific procedures and established laboratory practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory studies and analytical testing following established procedures and scientific protocols.
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental data to support development activities.
• Prepare study protocols, reports, presentations, and other technical documentation with guidance from senior team members.
• Support laboratory operations, including equipment monitoring, maintenance, and documentation review.
• Participate in safety initiatives and maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal project teams and provide updates on study progress and results.
• Complete required training and continue developing technical expertise across laboratory functions.
