Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a motivated early-career scientist to join its Research and Development team in the United States, focusing on automation-enabled assay workflows and data analysis.

You will support lab experiments, data collection, and documentation, collaborating with scientists, automation specialists, and QA partners to drive scalable improvements across discovery and development programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life science or related field with 0–2 years of lab experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience including basic assay execution and data documentation.
• Interest in automation or process improvement and willingness to pilot new tools.
• Experience with laboratory robotics or automation for assays/workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation/implementation of new lab technologies, including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Assist in assay development, optimization, and troubleshooting with data collection and interpretation.
• Perform lab activities per SOPs and support innovation-focused projects.
• Maintain documentation, review protocols/SOPs, and archive data; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Present results in group meetings and contribute written updates.
