Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology, Oncology, to work onsite at the South San Francisco campus. You will generate and communicate in vivo data to support progression of oncology programs, collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves hands-on mouse work, in vivo PK/PD studies, data analysis, and active participation in cross-departmental teams. A strong background in tumor biology and pharmacology is required.

Qualifications

• Requirements include advanced training in in-vivo rodent work and oncology-focused pharmacology.
• Experience with in-vivo cancer models and pharmacology is preferred.
• Proficiency with flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques is expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on in vivo work in mice, including dosing and sample collection.
• Perform necropsies and support ex vivo tissue activities and readouts.
• Conduct in vitro work including multiparametric flow cytometry and molecular assays.
• Maintain accurate study records and present results to teams.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings and discussions.
• Join dosing rotations with potential evening/weekend work.
