Job summary
Baxter International Inc. is seeking an Associate Scientist II in R&D to tackle complex technical challenges that support product quality, manufacturing excellence, and new product development.
You will investigate root causes, identify particles, and generate insights that influence decisions across our global organization. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing while building expertise in characterization methods and therapeutic product
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related science with 3+ years of industry experience.
- Master’s degree or higher in a related scientific field.
- Experience with analytical characterization techniques and data interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute lab investigations on particle identification and root-cause analysis.
- Design and perform experiments independently using scientific principles.
- Use microscopy and spectroscopy to characterize materials and support development.
- Collaborate with global R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Evaluate data and provide technical recommendations to influence decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical approaches and processes.
