R&D Partners in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Associate Scientist II to support oligonucleotide synthesis method development, optimization, and scale-up. You will perform in-process analytical testing and work with researchers to build robust processes for new chemistries.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1–3 years of lab experience, knowledge of analytical techniques, and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years of lab experience.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity, HPLC, LC-MS).
• Hands-on experience preferred and meticulous documentation is required.
• Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture processes is a plus.

R&D Partners is seeking to hire an Associate Scientist II in Cambridge, MA.

Your main responsibilities as an Associate Scientist II:

• Support oligonucleotide synthesis method development, optimization and scale-up
• Execution of in-process analytical testing
• Working with research and process scientists to develop robust processes for novel chemistries

What we are looking for in an Associate Scientist II:

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years of lab experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, LC-MS etc.).
• Related hands‑on experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture process including phosphoramidite chemistry, chromatography, ultrafiltration etc. is a plus.
• Experience in record-keeping and excellent laboratory documentation practice are required.

Pay Scale:

$74,330 - $92,907 Dependent on Experience)
