Role Overview: Associate Scientist, Analytical Development

The Associate Scientist, under supervision, supports analytical method development, validation, transfer, and testing of formulations for sun care and other derma topical products. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, calibration, and ensuring analytical procedures are safe, effective, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate analytical methods for new products
  • Implement testing procedures for prototypes, stability, process optimization, and validation
  • Design and interpret laboratory experiments
  • Generate and document scientific data accurately
  • Support investigations and troubleshooting
  • Review scientific data for compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, AA, IR, UV-VIS)
  • Use software such as Word, Empower, and Excel proficiently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in PC applications and laboratory techniques
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
