Job Details

We are searching for a dynamic and highly organized Permanent Associate Scheduler to join our team. This role is pivotal in the planning, coordinating, and execution of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed project schedules during the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution. This involves working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and update complex project schedules, ensuring they adhere to established deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary data to develop a comprehensive project schedule.
  • Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
  • Communicate project status, updates, modifications, and issues to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring information is received in a timely manner.
  • Utilize project management software to track project progress and report on key metrics.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per the project schedule.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide detailed reports on the project's progress, highlighting any deviations from the original plan.
  • Review and evaluate current scheduling processes, recommending improvements where necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction scheduling or project management roles.
  • Proficient in project management software like MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of construction sequencing, materials, standards, and codes.
  • Proven experience in capital improvement projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of risk management and ability to identify potential schedule risks.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and their impact on scheduling and project controls.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
