Job summary

TMN Toyota Motor North America Company is seeking an Associate SAP Data Analyst to support data preparation, analysis, and reporting across SAP and cloud analytics platforms. You will help build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and insights that enable informed business decisions.

You will report to the Data and Analytics Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted, timely data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• 0–1+ year of data analytics, reporting, or BI experience
• Ability to validate, cleanse, and analyze structured data with accuracy
• Ability to document findings and work with cross-functional teams
• Experience with programming languages (C++, Java, Python, SQL, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading using SAP sources
• Assist in building dashboards/reports with Power BI and Tableau
• Work with SAP Datasphere and AWS big data platforms for data integration
• Perform data validation and basic analysis to ensure quality
• Collaborate with business/tech teams to translate requirements into analytics
• Document data processes and report logic for support teams
• Troubleshoot data pipelines, datasets, and BI reports

Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Data and Analytics Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Associate SAP Data Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to support data preparation, analysis, and reporting across SAP and cloud-based analytics platforms. The person in this role will help build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and insights that enable business decision-making. Reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, the person in this role will support the department’s objective to deliver trusted, timely, and actionable data solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using SAP data sources and analytics platforms
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
• Work with SAP Datasphere and AWS big data platforms to support data integration and reporting need
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and basic analysis to ensure data quality and consistency
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into analytics outputs
• Document data processes, report logic, and solution design for operational support
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for data pipelines, datasets, and BI reports

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 0 to 1+ year of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related projects
• Ability to validate, cleanse, and analyze structured data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to document findings and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with any programming language (C++, Java, Python, SQL, etc)
• Added bonus if you have Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Exposure to Python, data modeling, ETL concepts, or SAP analytics tools
• Experience working in SAP data structures, SAP Datasphere, and/or AWS data platforms
• Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
• Relevant Certifications: SAP, AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or data analytics certifications
