Job summary

Envision seeks an Associate Residency Program Director to help start a new Anesthesia Residency Program at AdventHealth Tampa. The program has been approved to begin in July 2027 as a 3-year residency in Tampa Bay.

The role combines clinical/teaching and administrative duties, with a 70/30 split once established and an initial 80/20 split before launch. ABA Board Certified and prior leadership in an ACGME program are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Program Director, Assistant PD, or Core Faculty member in an ACGME–accredited Anesthesiology program.
• ABA Board Certified.

Responsibilities

• Authority and accountability for the operation of the Anesthesiology Residency Program
• Developing curriculum, policies, and procedures for the program
• Maintaining ACGME accreditation and state approvals
• Recruiting residents into the program
• Developing and executing competency evaluations of their performance
• Miscellaneous responsibilities to ensure the success of the program
• Participation with clinical daily and call duties
