Job summary

Copia Power is seeking an Associate, Development Engineering to contribute to the development of large-scale renewable energy assets and bring clean energy solutions to the U.S. grid.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across development, EPC, asset management, and finance to advance projects from concept through early execution. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with 1–2 years of renewable energy experience and a mix of on-site and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 1–2 years of renewable energy experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CAD tools and PVsyst or equivalent energy modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage preliminary designs and studies for development projects.
• Perform in-house preliminary designs using AutoCAD/Civil3D and PVsyst.
• Develop energy resource assessment models and production modeling.
• Coordinate with EPC, asset management, legal, and finance teams.
• Support site solar resource assessment and deployment.
