Job summary

Copia Power is seeking an Associate, Development Engineering to advance large-scale clean energy assets and data-center load solutions onto the U.S. power grid.

You will support the development team with preliminary designs, models, and performance testing standards in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Engineering and works with Development, EPC, asset management, energy markets, legal, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 1–2 years of renewable energy experience.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets and project finance.

Responsibilities

• Support preliminary designs and studies for development-stage projects.
• Perform 10% level in-house preliminary designs using CAD tools and PV software.
• Develop energy resource assessment models and production modeling standards.
• Manage on-site solar resource assessment and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize projects for LCOE, IRR, and offtake.
