Job summary

Fort Lewis College seeks an Associate Registrar to lead the planning, implementation, and analysis of technology solutions supporting student services. You will define requirements, oversee SIS integrations, and collaborate with IT to improve processes and data quality.

You will supervise staff, develop training, and ensure compliance with state and federal reporting. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and ongoing system enhancements within the Registrar’s Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education or related field.
  • Two+ years of supervisory or team-leading experience.
  • Experience leading or contributing to technology or systems projects.
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or database query tools.
  • Experience in developing, improving, and documenting business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and participates in implementation of new systems.
  • Provides leadership in maintaining applications supporting students.
  • Leads systems analysis to improve business processes.
  • Defines system requirements and uses technology to fulfill them.
  • Supports day-to-day SIS operations and data integrity.
  • Coordinates project releases and upgrades.
  • Acts as liaison to AIS‑Tech and Skyhawk Station teams.
  • Manages imaging processes for academic records.
