Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in higher education and with student information systems required; Banner experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of higher ed administrative and academic procedures and their related best practices required; must have knowledge and experience working with FERPA.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage critical, time-sensitive work and decisions.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment on complex matters, handling confidential information with discretion and tact.
• Excellent written communication skills; ability to communicate policy information succinctly to all constituencies.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate, track, and approve students' eligibility for degree conferral; maintain graduates lists and coordinate Commencement processes.
• Advise on and interpret academic policies; serve as primary contact for policy information in assigned units.
• Coordinate and execute registration procedures, timelines, and communications for assigned units.
• Manage timely collection, processing, and publishing of grades; produce grade reports for internal audiences.
• Record, track, and report student enrollment statuses in the SIS and external databases; communicate with Middlebury offices.
• Provide leadership to the Registrar staff through supervision or mentorship in line with office procedures.
