Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) in Galveston, TX seeks an HR professional to support Talent Acquisition activities, including posting roles, coordinating interviews, sourcing candidates, and applying ATS and data visualization to recruitment processes.

Job Summary

Provides general support for human resources related to operations in Talent Acquisition. Communicates and provides guidance on Talent Acquisition initiatives and programs to customers. Conducts daily recruitment activities and metrics reviews. Supports the recruitment process with advertising, branding, marketing, social media strategy, sourcing for candidates, interview scheduling, job fair management, data visualization, and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant HR experience within UT System.
• Experience with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems.

Job Duties

• Create and monitor job postings for department hiring managers.
• Utilize knowledge of recruitment tools and ATS to support department needs and conduct recruitment audits as required.
• Evaluate innovative approaches to job-specific interviews. Develop and revise screening questions for operations areas as needed.
• Monitor handoff between recruitment and onboarding.
• Contact applicants to provide and obtain additional information as needed.
• Provide job search, resume review and revision, counseling, and job fairs for assigned areas.
• Initiate searches on hard-to-fill positions through networking and use of LinkedIn and Indeed,
• Organize sourcing points, leads, and professional organizations for the candidate pool.
• Participate in job fairs to be a visible provider of UTMB services.
• Provide guidance to customers in the recruitment process.
• Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.

Salary Range

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule

Partial Remote, on-site as needed. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
