Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Associate Quality Inspector for its Global Services Distribution in Enfield, CT. The role focuses on verifying product conformance to design requirements and providing objective evidence of results.

Under limited supervision, you will inspect incoming parts, review certification documents, mentor the inspection team, and ensure traceability per AS9100 standards. This is a first-shift, on-site position with export-control considerations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparator.
  • 2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in Enfield, CT.

Position Responsibilities
  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Under limited supervision, inspects incoming parts/material, outgoing orders verify that certification is correct, checks parts for processing, checks special orders, daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. Provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team.
  • Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming products.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 2+ years’ related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator.
  • 2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Export Control Requirements

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Previous aerospace inspection experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

Summary pay range: $41,000.00 - $58,000.00
