Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking an Associate SQA Engineer to join our gaming software team onsite in Chicago, IL.

You will help review requirements, design test cases, and execute tests for cross-platform gaming products, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional partners to ensure quality and compliance. Ideal candidates have a foundation in computer science or engineering, basic knowledge of the software development life cycle, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Academic or working knowledge of computer architecture and hardware.
• Academic or working knowledge of OS and software architecture.
• Academic or working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Academic or working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide timely feedback on requirements and design artifacts with senior engineers.
• Collaborate in creation and execution of test plans, test cases and test scripts for game software across platforms.
• Write clear and concise defect logs and assist in reproducing issues.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of major issues.
