Job summary

impact.com is seeking an Associate QA Engineer to understand, test, and approve quality features by developing and executing comprehensive test plans. You’ll work on experiences that help customers achieve the best results on our platform and contribute to a global, collaborative team.

You will collaborate with engineers and PMs to clarify requirements, create robust test scenarios, and document results, supporting timely deployments and high-quality software across a large global audience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional QA experience in software delivery.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle and QA’s role.
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Dive into quality assurance checks during internal development and ensure only top-notch code reaches QA environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Craft structured test scenarios and scripts aligned with priorities and stakeholders.
• Create and execute tests and meticulously record findings.
• Participate in bug triage and release readiness reviews with actionable feedback.
• Document and track bugs and drive them to resolution with developers.
• Prepare and maintain test plan documentation, including test cases and schedules.
• Collaborate with business lines on test planning, execution, and results analysis.
