Job summary

Oscar Health in New York City is seeking an Associate to join the Provider Success team on a hybrid work schedule with three in-office days per week. The role drives end-to-end provider escalations, collaborates across internal partners, and builds relationships to deliver effective solutions.

The Associate reports to the Manager, Provider Success, and will use data to inform cross-functional strategy while maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations, data analysis, or healthcare consulting.
• 3+ years of project planning with internal and external stakeholders.
• 3+ years designing and improving workflows with procedures/tools.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Healthcare industry experience.

About the role:

The Associate, Provider Success drives solutions to acute and systemic issues within Oscar's operations. The Associate owns end-to-end solutioning of provider escalations, orchestrating efforts cross-functionally with multiple internal partners, while building strong relationships through effectiveness and trust.

You will report into the Manager, Provider Success.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $96,876 - $127,149 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant technical experience in operations, data analysis, and/or consulting within healthcare
• 3+ years experience cooperatively developing project plans with internal and external stakeholders
• 3+ years experience designing and improving workflows, including development of accompanying operating and technical procedures and tooling
• Experience managing complicated business challenges: developing understanding, distilling and communicating that understanding to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Healthcare experience

Bonus points:

• Knowledge management, training, or content development in operational settings
• 2+ years experience using SQL to manipulate and analyze large data sets to solve business problems
• Process Improvement or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Structured, systematic, and critical thinking
• Strong verbal and written communications
