IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions globally, seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Proposals Writer to support proposal development. You will create persuasive, customer-focused proposal content while learning proposal writing fundamentals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career writer to develop skills in sales writing, content customization, and cross-team collaboration within an educational technology company.

This is a full-time remote position for candidates located in the United States.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Support the Senior Proposals Manager in reviewing RFPs to identify key requirements and timelines
2. Edit and tailor existing proposal content to meet district needs, ensuring voice and messaging consistency
3. Collaborate with senior writers and subject matter experts to develop persuasive, customer-focused proposal content that highlights IXL’s benefits and differentiators
4. Organize proposal materials, track deadlines, and assemble final submissions
5. Contribute to copywriting tasks, including product descriptions, team bios, and supporting content for proposals and sales documents
6. Maintain content libraries and update standard responses

What We're Looking For

1. BA/BS in English, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field
2. 1–2 years of experience in proposal development, sales writing, marketing, or content creation
3. Classroom or related educational experience of 2+ years preferred
4. Strong written communication skills, with attention to detail, clarity, and persuasiveness
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
6. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and PDF tools
7. Experience in K-12 education or edtech sales is a plus
