We’re looking for a sharp, driven SEO Content Writer to join our remote team and help us produce high-performing content for cannabis dispensaries across the U.S.This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level writer (1-3 years of experience) who’s hungry to learn, open to feedback, and excited to write in volume. You’ll create optimized content that not only ranks but also converts, supporting real businesses, real customers, and aResponsibilities:

• Write SEO-focused content for dispensary websites, blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and more
• Execute content strategies provided by our SEO team with a focus on local visibility and conversion
• Research and naturally integrate keywords while prioritizing flow, clarity, and voice
• Develop content tailored to specific cities and regional cannabis markets
• Write and optimize metadata, title tags, and headers with SEO best practices in mind
• Adapt to a variety of brand tones while staying compliant with cannabis advertising laws
• Use AI tools (when applicable) to help ideate, optimize, and streamline workflows, without compromising originality

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of SEO content writing experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Basic understanding of on-page SEO and how to write with search and users in mind
• Strong grasp of grammar, storytelling, and structure, with the ability to take feedback and run with it
• Excellent research skills and ability to quickly understand complex topics
• Proficiency in keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) and content optimization
• Understanding of local SEO content strategies and location-based optimization
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and meet tight deadlines
• (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
