Job summary

Avid Storage in Midland, TX is seeking an Associate Property Manager to join our team. You will rent units, help customers select the right storage, and manage the property when the District Manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities include processing payments, keeping occupancy high, and walking the site daily to report maintenance needs. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities to cover multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related customer service experience in direct sales or retail.
• Ability to multi-task and work unsupervised.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Every hour is different in this role, whether you are helping customers rent the right unit, walking and cleaning the property, and running the property on your own when the Property Manager is out.

What you'll do

• Grow the business: Rent units, sell merchandise, and help keep occupancy high

• Serve people well: You will build relationships with people experiencing intimate life moments, moving houses, dealing with the death of a loved one. Storage facilities work with people in transitional moments of life. We have the ability to pour into these people and truly make a difference
• Cover when needed: Run the facility independently and provide coverage to alternate locations as directed by your District Manager

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED equivalent
• At least one year of related customer service experience in direct sales or retail is required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
• Ability to multi-task and work unsupervised & lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to provide coverage at multiple locations as directed by your District Manager
