Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects from concept to completion at our HQ in San Diego, CA. This onsite role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes and manage scope, timelines, and budgets.

You will plan and track deliverables, support risk management, and help ensure project success through proactive communication and documentation. Eligible for performance bonuses as described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years in a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related role.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and Asana.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and planning activities across small to mid-size initiatives.
• Assist in defining scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned to business goals.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met on schedule.
• Track progress, risks, issues, and dependencies; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Document processes, capture lessons learned, and support PMO standardization.
