Job summary

Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento, CA is seeking an entry-level Commercial Project Manager to own defined projects from start to finish, with coaching as needed, and to gain broad exposure across Marketing, Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build integrated project plans, manage scope and budgets, and advance through Blue Diamond's Idea-to-Launch stage gate process, developing leadership and communication skills in a growing function.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of project management, commercialization or related cross-functional project experience.
• CPG experience strongly preferred; food and beverage experience a plus.
• Experience supporting or leading work involving multiple functions, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build plans, organize complex information and drive work through completion.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own defined commercialization and business projects from start through completion.
• Build and drive integrated project plans with milestones and ownership across teams.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate meetings.
• Manage project scope, timing and budgets, identifying changes and risks.
• Track risks and decisions to keep teams moving toward launch.
• Lead projects through Stage Gate process with documentation and gate readiness.
