Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks an Associate Project Manager to support planning, execution, commissioning and closeout of material handling automation projects, under the guidance of experienced PMs.

Travel up to 80% across U.S. sites, field rotations, mentoring, and career progression aim to readiness to independently manage projects and customer relationships within 12–24 months. This role covers conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS, controls and software integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in project coordination, engineering, construction, logistics, or industrial automation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, commissioning and closeout of automation projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budget tracking, risk management and reporting.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, software, operations, procurement and customers.
• Track milestones, risks, issues and change requests.
