We are seeking an experienced Associate Project Manager at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.
Summary
The Associate Project Manager coordinates installation schedules and communicates with internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Dealers/Installers, and Customers. This role acts as the primary contact for customer support inquiries, warranty claims, technical assistance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers excellent service through proactive communication, follow-up, and resolution ownership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customer installation schedules.
- Coordinate delivery logistics and timelines with customers and internal teams.
- Prepare documentation for submittals and respond to inquiries.
- Respond promptly to warranty and technical support requests.
- Investigate and resolve product or service issues, identifying root causes and solutions.
- Take ownership of issues, facilitate corrections or handoffs, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and service.
- Document all communication, resolutions, and follow-up actions accurately.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years in Project Coordination, Customer Service, or a related client-facing role, or 1 year experience with the Company as a Site Service Installer.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, or related fields; relevant experience considered.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting or manufacturing/engineering environments is a plus.
- ERP and CRM experience preferred (Infor, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CAD viewing tools and ERP/CRM platforms.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse personalities.
- Organized, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Onsite support may require standing for up to 8–10 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent movement around active construction and installation sites, including walking, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Must wear PPE, including safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
- Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to focus.
