Paradigm seeks a Project Manager to lead utility projects from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones are met within budget. You will oversee schedules, costs and risk, chair Joint Project Teams, and coordinate cross-functional work.
Bachelor's degree and PMI credentials are preferred; three years of utility experience required. This role is located in the United States and involves on-site work in Chattanooga.
Overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget cost from initiation through completion.
Leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applies professional principles, practices and techniques to manage and control project schedule, cost and performance risk to ensure project is completed within a certain set of restraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and a high level of quality.
Assigned non-critical standardized small projects, or identifiable elements or functions within a larger project.
Work is primarily achieved by an individual or through project teams.
Education –bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or technical field, or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience.
Experience – Requires three years utility experience, or equivalent functional area work experience. Must have a thorough understanding of the utility industry and the ability to resolve complex problems. Works independently.
Certification/License, etc. — Project Management Institute (PMI) CAPM certification. Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired.
