Job summary

Paradigm Technology is seeking a Project Manager to oversee IT projects including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and applications upgrades/deployment. The role requires 3–5+ years of IT project management experience, PMP certification or active pursuit, and the ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets.

Remote work with occasional travel to Chattanooga, TN is offered, with local onsite flexibility for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with managing budgets on projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP Certification or candidate working toward one.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience working with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Joint Project Teams (JPT) and apply professional principles to manage project schedule, cost, and performance risk.
• Ensure project completion within time, budget, quality, and other restraints.
• Act as the single point of contact for a specific project.
• Budget responsibility for projects over $8 million or a portfolio totaling over $25 million.

Job description

• The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget cost from initiation through completion
• The Project Manager will work on IT projects, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and/or application upgrades/deployment
• Candidates must have an Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification as offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or be working toward one
• This position is Remote, with occasional travel to Chattanooga, TN
• Local Candidates who can occasionally work onsite in Chattanooga, TN are preferred

Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager leads Joint Project Teams (JPT), applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to manage and control project schedule, cost, and performance risk to ensure project is completed within a certain set of restraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and a high level of quality
• Work is primarily achieved by an individual, or through project teams
• The Project Manager is the single point of contact regarding a specific project
• Budget Responsibility: Capability to manage project budget over $8 Million, or a portfolio of projects that have an aggregate total over $25 Million for all active projects assigned

• 3-5+ years of IT Project Management experience
